Sailing on Georgian Bay

As an added bonus during the summer months we occasionally offer sailing trips on Georgian Bay with John in his 28-foot CS sail boat free of charge for our registered guests.

Hiking –

Bruce Trail access points, including a great new side trial at the Bayview Provincial Park are a 10-15 drive from Irish Mountain.

John is a Bruce Trail captain and knows the trails well and will advise you on the best places to hike. During hiking season in the spring and fall you are welcome, as private individuals, to join John and Bobbie and their dog Zoe if they are going on a recreational hike.

Cross Country Skiing and snowshoeing

You can cross country ski and snowshoe right from our gate. The Bayview Provincial Park is 10-minute drive away and has fabulous trails ranging from easy to moderate. Kolapore with some of the best skiing anywhere is a 30-minute drive away and the scenic Loree Forest is a 25 minute drive away.

If you prefer track set Scenic Caves - www.sceniccaves.com is about a 35 minute drive from Irish Mountain

Bring your own skis or snowshoes or rent them at Scenic Cave
